Bill Smith Photography is Hiring a Photographer Near Roseville, CA

Are good with children, a little bit goofy and don't mind showing it? This might be the job for you!

If you like people, like to take photos and are willing to learn new skills, we would love to have you join our photography team. We have part-time and full-time positions available.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Studio portraiture;
  • On-site school photography;
  • On-location photography events;
  • Paid training
  • All equipment provided
  • Other duties as assigned.

You must have reliable transportation and be able to get to local Sacramento, Roseville, Rocklin and Lincoln schools as well as our Roseville and Sacramento studio locations.

Interview Process:

Qualified candidates will be contacted through Indeed to be scheduled for a video interview. Selected candidates will schedule an in-person interview at our Roseville studio.

Rate of Pay:

$20 per hour. After completing 1000 hours of work, the rate goes up to $20.50. Bonuses are offered per pay period based on qualifying factors. Seasonal bonuses are also available. Sunday work includes a $1 per hour bonus.

About you:

  • You can pass a background check;
  • You love photography;
  • You love people;
  • You have experience with digital photography (Don't worry! We train you!);
  • Ability to make clients feel at ease with conversation and friendly, approachable manner;
  • Reliable transportation;
  • Ability to multitask and to determine and act on critical priorities;
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds on a daily basis;
  • Must have a valid California driver's license and a clean driving record;
  • Self-directed, ability to work independently as well as a member of a team;
  • You must be able to stand for long periods and the majority of your shift;
  • Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays;
  • Spanish fluency is preferred, but not required.

Hours:

This position is an alternative workweek schedule. We work a 4/10 schedule. We also have some part-time positions available.

You will be training directly with our leadership team.

Fall/Winter/Spring schedules vary throughout the week with many early starts (6am to 7am when photographing on location).

We offer a flexible schedule for students who are enrolled in college depending on applicant availability and company needs.
